Beautiful artwork from the Stems Plein Air Event lined the walls for the Rice Gallery for the Artist Reception.  I was so honored to receive a First Place Award in Acrylic for "Seclusion" and an Honorable Mention on "Erickson's Falls". 

I certainly want to thank Peggy Rice and all the staff from the Rice Gallery for making this event so special for the artists.  

I am already looking forward to the Second Annual Stems Plein Air Event at Arboretum, Overland Park, KS.
