I am trying a different format for this blog.  Let's see how it works.

Here's my fantasy painting, which won a Blue Ribbon at the January meeting of
the Greater Kansas City Art Association.  Would you call this abstract?   I call it just painting
for the fun of it.  Not really painting any specific subject, just placing colors on the canvas.

Connie Mowe has encouraged everyone to participate in the Special Category each month.
The special categories for this year were selected to make us think outside our normal subject
matter and style. I told you this was a different style for me. 
I hope you will enjoy seeing it.

My next blog will be images of a "work in progress".  I currently have two paintings on the easel.
