The M&I Bank, 18811 Valley View Parkway, Independence, MO in partnership with the Independence Art Association has sponsored six Art Exhibit over the last two years.  A lovely Artist Reception with light refreshment and entertainment kicks-off the four week Art Exhibit.  The attendance has grown with each event. Approxiamtely 200 people attended our last event.   The Bank and the artist send out about 500 invitations.  These are classy events and the bank seems to be as happy as the artists.  Our seventh Artist Reception will be held on December 2, 2008 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.  You might consider something like this in your area.
